Another part 3

I have finally finished part 3 of Holland Springtime mandala. The colours in this one are so pretty. Hopefully in the coming months, I can make some more progress.

First tulip

Still working on part 3 of Holland Springtime mandala. The lower left tulip is done.

Border done

The border of part 3 of Holland Springtime mandala is completed. So much work but the effect is lovely!.

Satin Stitches

I am so loving stitching this part, especially the border. The thread used in the border is Mississippi Mud from The Thread Gatherer. It is gorgeous!

No sails

Part two of Holland Springtime is completed. I am glad that I've managed to finish this part as it is rather fiddly with lots of starting and finishing of threads.

Tulips and crocuses

Here is my progress on Holland Springtime. The border with the tulips and crocuses is almost ready, only  some of the tulips are left to be stitched.

The centre of this mandala is completed except for the specialty stitches and the beads.

Some blues

Still working on part 1 of Holland Sprintgtime. The colours are gorgeous. This is what draws me the most to Martina's designs, as I think she has such a great eye for colours. I have the intention to keep stitching on this until I finish part 1.

A little progress

Still working on part 1 of Holland Springtime mandala. The progress I made does not really deserve a blog post, but I guess, even little progress is a step in the right direction.

First stitches

I have finally started Holland Springtime mandala. I am really pleased with my choice of fabric. I am sure this will be a pleasure to stitch and hopefully it does not take me years to complete. This is what I accomplished after a couple of hours stitching. I do not keep track of time but roughly, I spent about three to four hours.

Floss Toss

This is a floss toss of my next Chatelaine start, Holland Springtime Mandala.

I am planning on stitching it using the original kit and the fabric is SMF Fairy Morn 32ct lugana. The picture shows the fabric a little washed out but I like how the threads look on it.
